PeerBerry is on the way to becoming a regulated entity

At the end of April of this year, PeerBerry has submitted the necessary package of documents and the application for an Investment Brokerage Firm License to the Latvian regulator FCMC. Once licensed, PeerBerry will become one of the first regulated alternative investment platforms in Europe.

While the P2P market regulation process is underway in the Latvian market, there is active cooperation between PeerBerry and regulatory institution FCMC.

Regular online meetings are held every week to discuss various questions and details. The platform regularly provides additional information upon regulator requests. Since the beginning of cooperation with the Latvian regulator, PeerBerry is submitting a monthly report to the FCMC while not having the license. In other words, PeerBerry is already operating based on the requirements of the regulator.

Eso esta bien, a ver si cunde el ejemplo....

Es lo que necesita este sector una regulación, para que estas plataformas no hagan lo que les de la gana y estén mas controladas.

Lo mejor es que están partiendo de iniciativas propias, Mintos es una de las que más lleva peleando por estar regulada más que nada por puro egoísmo, si entre las más serias echan la bazofia de plataformas estilo "Fastinvest", "Grupeer" y demás, tendrán lo primero más potencial clientela y, quizás, estarán a tiempo de cambiar la imagen cara al inversor ofreciendo mayor seguridad, confianza y transparencia.

Se puede perder dinero en "crowdlending", claro que si y se asume que de cuando en cuando algo salga rana y afecte a una parte de tu cartera. Pero lo que está pasando ahora mismo no es ni medio normal con plataformas alojadas en el "cloud" y radicadas muchas veces en domicilios fiscales que es para verlos por "Street view", que luego de la noche a la mañana desaparezcan con el dinero y tengamos a la Unión Europea ahí mirando a otro lado como si no pasara nada.

Estaría bien que alguien con capacidad jurídica haya sumado el total de millones que se han evaporado en estas estafas fruto de la absoluta falta de regulación y que envíe un informe a algún europarlamentario.
