Acabo de recibir este email desde la dirección [email protected] , con el titulo "Source of funds documentation"

Dear Investor,

Hope you’re doing well. Please provide some information and documents on source of funds, brought to Envestio.
Please reply ASAP.
Among possible documents can be:
• Salary slips/contracts mentioning salary
• Bank statements, showing origin of funds
• Tax declarations
• Documents confirming profit from business activities
• Documents confirming sale of property and/or other assets
• Etc.

Es pishing ? Me parece muy raro. Es un email genérico, (no se dirigen a mi con mi nombre o mi id de inversor), va dirigido a varios destinatarios en copia oculta, me piden información muy confidencial, y usan la palabra ASAP que es muy coloquial y poco profesional para hablar con un cliente. Además no especifica para qué necesitan estos documentos ? Es para un requeriemiento de una autoridad de control , hacienda , etc ??

esperaré su respuesta antes de contestar o no a este email.

Subi de nuevo mi residencia fiscal el dia 21 de mayo y todavia no la han verificado.

En el email que mandaron con el cambio de cuenta de ingreso de fondos ya avisaban de que, bajo petición, habría que informarles del origen de los fondos.

Este email parece "esa" petición.

Thank you for the double check. As part of "Anti Money Laundering" and and "Know your Customer" policies we may ask verify the origin and source of funds brought by Envestio Participants (above 10 000 EUR) in order to comply with the regulations of financial institutions whose services we use.
As you may understand, the threshold is not passed immediately, therefore we may request documentation on later stages.
It was not an automatic mass mailing to all investors, the Accounting department contacted a couple of targeted investors.
